If you plan to use the web for research, you will need to carefully evaluate each internet site you use.  Here is a guide that will help:

Citing Research Sources

You will also need to know how to document your research sources. (It will help to understand this even before you begin your research.) Check with your teacher for the exact requirements for your project, but if you are using MLA or APA style, these tools will help:

Formatting the Research Paper
